针对总计13种线材及电缆产品，印度政府于年初发布，印度在售的厂家在售卖前必须获得印度BIS颁发的ISI证书，并在产品上印上认证标识。
以下法规（标准）于今年8.1正式强制生效，所涉及产品如下：
| IS 1554(Part 1) : 1988+B375:C389B375:B375:C397 | Specification for PVC Insulated (Heavy Duty) Electric Cables Part 1 For Working Voltages up to and Including 1100 V/ PVC绝缘（重型）大功率电缆规范，第1部分，适用于1100 V及以下的工作电压 |
| IS 1554(Part 2) : 1988 | Specification for PVC Insulated (Heavy Duty) Electric Cables Part 2 For Working Voltages from 3.3 kV up to and Including 11 Kv/ PVC绝缘（重型）大功率电缆规范，第2部分，工作电压范围为3.3 kV至11 kV（含） |
| IS 7098 (Part 1) : 1988 | Specification for Crosslinked Polyethylene Insulated PVC Sheathed Cables Part 1 for working voltages up to and including 1100 V/ 交联聚乙烯绝缘PVC护套电缆规范，第1部分，适用于1100 V及以下的工作电压 |

| IS 17048 : 2018 | Halogen Free Flame Retardant (HFFR) Cables for Working Voltages Up to and Including 1100 V – Specification 额定电压不超过1100 V的无卤阻燃（HFFR） 电缆 |
BIS认证是ISI认证发证机构印度标准局（The Bureau of Indian Standards），简称BIS，具体负责产品认证工作，它是印度唯一的产品认证机构。
ISI标志的申请周期长达半年，流程复杂，需要准备大量的文件资料，同时涉及到印度政府人员上厂审核。
