Design Engineer, China
Working Location: Jiangsu Province
Report to: Global Design Manager
Responsibilities
· Issue drawings, work descriptions and calculations that fulfill the requirements in enquiries and specifications.
· Calculate cost price for design.
· If necessary send remittance to applicable departments.
· Review drawing and work description for production order.
· Prepare documents for prototype cable or test run.
· Reply and take actions on error reports concerning drawings and work descriptions.
· Support Sales, quality department and production in technical issues.
· Will co-operate with other functions within the group to obtain the best possible result from a comprehensive view.
· Ability to quickly grasp and embrace new design concepts.
· Understanding demands based on applications, specifications, regulations and practical information.
Qualifications
· Excellent English, written and verbal
· Minimum B.S. Polymers or electrical preferred.
· Experienced user of MS Office
· CAD (ME10/ One Space Designer drafting)
· Basic knowledge of production economics and cost calculations
· Basic knowledge in Production Technique, instrument calbe knowledge is a plus
