Revisions: This Standard contains revisions through and including February 11, 2008.
Summary of Topics
Revision pages have been issued for the Standard for Electric Baseboard Heating Equipment,
UL 1042, to reflect the latest ANSI approval date and to incorporate the proposals dated
September 21, 2007 and November 23, 2007. These proposals include the following:
• Additional supply cord requirements added to Section 11, Section 55, and new Sections
52A – 52E and 54A.
• Revision to Paragraph 33.2.1 to clarify the requirements for normal operation and
temperature-limiting devices.
• Revision to Paragraph 13.3.1 to include additional manufacturing and production line
tests under the QA audit program.
UL Standards for Safety are developed and maintained in the Standard Generalized Markup Language
(SGML). SGML -- an international standard (ISO 8879-1986) -- is a descriptive markup language that
describes a document’s structure and purpose, rather than its physical appearance on a page. Due to
formatting differences resulting from the use of UL’s new electronic publishing system, please note that
additional pages (on which no requirements have been changed) may be included in revision pages due
to relocation of existing text and reformatting of the Standard.
Text that has been changed in any manner is marked with a vertical line in the margin. Changes in
requirements are marked with a vertical line in the margin and are followed by an effective date note
indicating the date of publication or the date on which the changed requirement becomes effective.

还没有申请-R-,不过和UL高层谈过应该容易通过,而且他们实验室可以帮做测试.

依据UL62 & UL2556标准要求, 带W型电线须符合以下要求：

1. 电容与相对电容率

a) 14天的浸泡之后电容量不能大于第一天测量值的10%, 且

b) 14天的浸泡之后电容量不能大于第7天测量值的3%。

2. 稳定系数

a) 第14天浸水后的系数: 不大于1.0; 或，

b) 第1天与第14天浸水后的稳定系数之差: 不大于0.5。
