RS: Recommended Standard

 

4.        设计要求

4.1       端子的分类及使用场合。

a)      DB9: 符合RS232规范，用于串行接口如mouse, modem, null modem

b)      DB15: 用于游戏机、Midi、网络或苹果机接口，如 joystick, gamepad, synthesizer, AUI, Apple video

c)      DB25: 符合RS232规范，用于并行、串行或SCSI接口，如modem, null modem, laplink, printer, scanner, removable storage drive

d)      DB37：符合RS449规范，用于串行的 RS-449 接口，如modem
